The Southern Softies' Bob Graham Round.

On Saturday 26th June, 1999 three-quarters of the Southern Softies successfully completed the Bob Graham Round, a 24-hour challenge in the English Lake District. The 70-mile route takes in 42 peaks with 25,000' of ascent, largely over rough ground.

The Southern Softies were Alan Atkinson, Garry Perratt, John Smallwood and Rob Withers. Alan, Garry and John all made it round in 23 hours and 27 minutes; Rob retired at Esk Hause.
